Privacy
Last updated 14 June 2026
Little Patterns is built privacy-first. The short version: your sleep logs live in your own private iCloud, there is no account to create and no Little Patterns server holding your data, and nothing is ever sold. This page explains that in full, including the one place we do collect something — your email address, if you choose to join the beta waitlist on this website.
Your sleep data stays yours
Everything you log in the Little Patterns app — sleep times, baby profiles, notes — is stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit) account. We designed the app so that:
- There is no account to create and no password to manage.
- There is no Little Patterns server that receives, stores, or can read your logs.
- There are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs tracking how you use the app.
- Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.
Because your data syncs through your private iCloud, it is governed by your iCloud settings and Apple's privacy policy. If you share with a partner, grandparent or nanny, syncing happens privately between the people you invite — it does not pass through us.
Exporting and deleting your data
You can export a clean CSV of your logs at any time from within the app. Because your data lives in your own iCloud, you can also delete it at any time — removing the app and its iCloud data removes your logs.
The waitlist on this website
If you enter your email address to join the beta waitlist on this site, we collect that email address for one purpose: to send you the TestFlight beta link and news about the launch. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers the submission to us. We do not add you to unrelated mailing lists, and we do not sell or share your email. You can ask us to remove your email at any time by writing to the address below.
Children's data
Little Patterns is a tool for parents and carers to record a child's sleep. That information is entered by you, the adult, and — as described above — it stays in your own private iCloud. We do not collect it, and the app is not directed at children as users.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. While the app is in beta, details may evolve; the privacy-first principles above will not.
